People have always said "change is good". Change is hard, change is exciting, change is scary, but without change, we cannot grow. Jamie Young Company is growing. Going into our eleventh year in business, we've moved into our new 30,000 square foot state of the art facilities and have settled into our beautiful offices. The Operations, Business Development, Finance and Sales Administration groups are all beginning to run like an orchestra. With many great new systems in place, we all feel revitalized. The staff has embraced the change at Jamie Young Company, and it is is very exciting to all of us.

This year, we are focusing on expanding our collections. Taking the incredible materials we have used for our lighting, and expanded into accessories, mirrors, hanging pendants, occasional furniture and much more.

To keep things exciting and creative with our product line, we will change our introductions from twice a year to four times a year. Please keep checking in with the Jamie Young Company to see what's new.

Conservation and our responsibility to the environment are also important to the Jamie Young Company. We are taking steps to be environmentally conscientious. Some of the things we are doing to make a difference include the endorsement and use of compact fluorescent light bulbs, renewable resources like bamboo and mango wood, recycled boxes and packaging materials. We constantly research new ways to design, package and promote our products to be environmentally friendly. You can feel good about where our products are coming from.

All of this change is not to imply that the way we were doing things was not successful, we are just going to do even better in 2008!

Environmentally Aware -- Compact Fluorescent Lamps (CFL)

Jamie Young Company now offers Compact Fluorescent Lamps (CFL) to all of our customers when buying Jamie Young Company Lamps.

CFLs use at least 2/3 less energy than standard incandescent bulbs to provide the same amount of light, and lasts up to 10 times longer. They can save you $30 or more in energy costs over each bulb’s lifetime. They also generate 70% less heat, which may cut energy costs associated with home cooling.

We will begin to offer 1-way Compact Fluorescent Lamps to all of our customers FREE through the end of 2007 with all of the NEW Fall 2007 collection. We will also sell the 1-way and 3-way bulbs to all customers when buying any lamps from the collection. We have researched what we think are the best quality CFLs out there, giving you the warm light of incandescent bulbs but with the incredible environmental attributes of a Compact Fluorescent Lamp!
