In the spring of 2025, the U.S. government introduced a sweeping new round of tariffs, impacting nearly every product imported into the country. These changes, commonly referred to as the “Liberation Day” tariffs, have significantly affected the home furnishings industry. These increases affect manufacturers, distributors, and retailers across the industry, and many companies have already begun raising prices accordingly.
How Jamie Young Co. Is Responding
We understand the importance of maintaining both design integrity and affordable pricing. While these changes pose real challenges, we’ve taken proactive steps to limit the impact on our customers:
We’re Minimizing Price Increases
We are doing everything we can to absorb as much of the cost increase as possible. Where price adjustments are unavoidable, they are modest and carefully considered. Our goal is to ensure that any changes are fair and clearly communicated.
Our Inventory Is Strong
Because we operate with strong stock levels, over 95% of our inventory is currently in the U.S., meaning many of our most-loved products are not immediately affected by the new tariffs.

Rather than applying blanket price changes, we’re reviewing each collection and item individually. This thoughtful approach helps us avoid passing unnecessary costs on to you.
